Last week, the TVA crew left off-season in the box canyon to visit Boulder for Boulder Startup Week. For those of you who don't know, Startup Week (a program of Techstars) is a celebration of entrepreneurs in cities around the world. This is an event where entrepreneurs, local leaders, and friends get together over five days to build momentum and opportunity around a community’s unique entrepreneurial identity. It basically shines a spotlight on all startup related activity taking in a particular community. This event is free and open to anyone. Speaking with an organizer of Boulder Startup Week they estimated they had over 10,000 attendees with over 250 events happening in downtown Boulder covering topics ranging from the state of venture capital in Colorado to virtual reality, artificial intelligence and everything in between.
We wanted to share some of the highlights of the week with you all. It was an action packed week! Aside from a few TVA specific events, each team was able to attend events that were relevant to their business and current needs. New relationships were formed, business cards were swapped and exposure gained for each of the companies.
Also, feel free to check out the recap post from Frank.ai, one of the TVA teams. You will get a founders perspective of the week!
All in all, it was a very valuable time for not only the teams, but for TVA as well. If you are interested in attending a Startup Week in the future, Denver Startup Week is happening September 25th-29th. You won't regret attending!
